Meet our Teachers

Founder and Head Teacher at the GSV Academy, Bhai Manbir Singh is an international Gurbani Sangeet musician, with a rich history of learning from great Ustaads across Gurbani Sangeet and Shastriya Sangeet. He designs and leads all curriculum planning, and also teaches the more advanced classes.

Sunit Singh is a vocalist and plays Dilruba, and is a long-standing senior student of Bhai Manbir Singh. He has been teaching with GSV for a number of years now, and teaches our Fundamentals and Level 1 classes across Dilruba and Vocals.

Aman Pal is a student of Ustaad Tari Khan, and comes from a respected lineage of Sikh Keertanis - the Zakhmi family. He is a guest teacher at GSV, as well as advises on the ongoing curriculum and planning of the Tabla classes at GSV.

Harpreet is a long-standing Senior student at GSV with a record of great experience in the community running and facilitating programs and classes for kids & youth. He brings this passion into a support role in teaching fundamentals in Vocals.

Karanbir is a keen enthusiast of Gurbani Sangeet and has learned for many years of her life, with a dedicated record at GSV as an advanced senior student. She plays a support role in teaching our Fundamentals classes.

Harjas is a long-standing senior student at GSV and plays a support role in teaching at GSV across Vocals, Tabla and Dilruba.
