Our Classes

BEGINNERS

The goal of this level is survival and basic connection. Students will learn to read Gurmukhi script simultaneously with basic speaking skills. We focus on making them comfortable navigating simple, everyday interactions in Punjabi.

INTERMEDIATE

These learners already know the Gurmukhi alphabet and can read (even if at a slow pace) and can handle basic interactions. The goal here is to build conversational stamina and confidence to be able to engage in Punjabi in a more spontaneous way.

GSV Punjabi Literature Club

For advanced Punjabi enthusiasts who want to explore the language and its literature further, these sessions are a forum to explore poetry and writing with the lens of literature studies - discussing context, styles, author backgrounds and building an appreciation for the language through art.

How it works

  • Small group classes allow for the right level of attention and interaction - this also means that spaces are limited!

  • We run on NSW school terms, each running approximately 10 weeks.

  • Student registration is booked in for the term and your attendance is your responsibility, as we do not offer make-up classes. We can provide any missed materials or worksheets for missed classes for you to catch up on at home.

  • The program and billing goes on hold during all term breaks, and students are notified of any specific dates around the term.

Pricing

$19.90 per week

Billed via direct debit, weekly. Billing is paused for the entire academy during school breaks by the system.

Cancel anytime with 2 weeks notice in writing to our admin team.

$14.90 per week (if added to students with an existing membership learning music)
